Ah Britney Spears a famous singer we speak a lot about him when we was at secondary school! Maybe you were her first fan?

Britney Spears, born in 1981, is an American recording artist and entertainer. She is one of the top female artists in mainstream popular music. She came to preeminence with the release of her first album … Baby One More Time in 1999. Becoming the best selling album of all time by a teenage artist, it made Britney the leading figure of the 90s teen pop revival and saw her develop a controversial public image a sex symbol.

Ahmet (not Ahmad) & Deewil Zappa are two brothers. They are sons of Frank Zappa. Frank Zappa was an American composer, singer-songwriter, guitarist, recording engineer, music producer and film director.

Adele had a very fast success?

There is a lot of her song remixed. My favorite ( is not at the salmon) is the Thomas Gold Remix of Fire to the rain. But start to listen the original!

Adele is an English singer-songwriter, musician and multi-instrumentalist. Adele was offered a recording contract from XWL Recordings after a friend posted her demo on Myspace in 2006. Adele released her second album, 21, in early 2011. He allow Adele to win many awards. More over, the album ah been certified 16 times platinum in the UK, in the US the album has held the top position longer than any other album since 1985.

Ah, now let’s go dance with Thomas Gold’s version! Thomas Gold is a German DJ – producer that I really love. He produce some beautiful song, like Alive, and do some very powerful remix.

I love the bass line, it’s give lot of punch at the song. More over, the piano drop send me in an other word and then the heady bass line return bring me back suddenly on the dance-floor!

PS : A drop (in electronic music) is characterised predominantly by a sudden build of textures as opposed to a slow build of them, and usually links a building section with the climax and following main theme and rhythm of a track.

Can’t take my eyes off of you

We all know this famous song singed by Gloria Gaynor. I love this song because it’s a very dancing song. It was originally sing by Frankie Valli ( If you know this singer please speak about him on comments).

I love this post because the Gloria Gaynor’s version is a famous disco version whereas Eldissa’s version is an unknown acoustic version!

Gloria Gaynor, borne in 1949, is an American singer, best known for her famous disco hits like : I Will Survive, Let Me Know and Never Can Say Goodbye. For me she is the queen of disco like Donna Summer!

First, I’m really sorry about video… I didn’t find an other version on all the web (you’re right maybe… I don’t know how to use search engine…)

I discover this version thanks to a Netherlands Soul radio that I love. It’s my alarm clock (Cool story :p)

Eldissa is a group created on the initiative of Ecio Parreira, a Brazilian guitarist nationality and Rio, a Swiss-born producer. The training consists of three singers respectively from the Caribbean, England and New York. The particularity of Eldissa group is in the fact that it performs very old tubes in customized versions like Gimme!Gimme!Gimme! or our version of Can’t take my eyes off you.

DMC 2005 set by C2C

Hello everyone!

Today, my post will be a little different. Indeed, the 10th November 2012 I was at the Olympia, a parisian concert hall, to see C2C. The first album of C2C, TETR4, is released in September 2012 and knows a real success!

But before this album, the 4 DJ’s band was already known to have been 4 times world champion team of DMC (Disco Mix Club). It’s a competition of megamix using differents techniques of turntabilism ( like scratch or beat juggling).

Walk On By

Hello everybody!

It’s been a long time that I didn’t make a post!!! Today, I will catch up this. We all love the original version of Walk On By by Dionne Warwick, her sweetie voice and a music that send your head in the cloud. The little touch of brass and the piano break are juste some magic instant in this song!

I discover the Walk On By version by Seal thanks to my dentist.I didn’t find the second version by Seal too, the drums is less powerful! Or maybe it was the anesthetic… It was verry pleasant.

Of course, I know Seal by it’s name but I never really heard what he sings and today I will admit that he’s a good singer and his voice is beautiful.

Seal, borned in 1963, is a British soul and R&B singer-songwriter. Of course Seal has won many music awards throughout his career (Brit Award, Grammy Award, MTV Video Music Award). Today, he is a coach on The Voice Australia!
